How We Use Your Information

  • To store settings and preferences for a better user experience.

  • To integrate with Discogs’ API to retrieve data about releases and for adding items to your wantlist.

  • To collect usage data to improve the app and user experience.

  • To integrate with Google’s YouTube API for creating playlists and adding videos to playlists.


Google User Data

  • If you choose to connect your Google account, our access will be limited to reading and creating YouTube playlists and adding videos to playlists as determined by your usage of our application.

  • No other data will be accessed, used, stored or shared.

  • Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.


Data Storage and Retention

  • Authentication tokens, settings, and cached data (such as your YouTube playlist names) are stored locally in your browser by the extension. We do not store your YouTube or Google user data on our servers.

  • Locally stored data is kept only for as long as you use the extension and is deleted when you sign out or uninstall it.


Deleting Your Data and Revoking Access

  • You can revoke the extension’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google security settings.

  • Signing out within the extension removes stored authentication tokens, and uninstalling the extension deletes all locally stored data.


Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymised usage data (such as which features are used) to improve the extension. Analytics events do not include your YouTube or Google user data.


Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service through the Discogs and YouTube integrations described above.


Security

We take the protection of your information seriously and implement commercially reasonable security measures. However, please be aware that no method of electronic data transmission or storage is entirely secure.


Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correction: Request we correct inaccurate information about you.

  • Deletion: Request we delete the personal information we hold about you.


Children’s Privacy
